What to expect at 3 Days of Silence & Wisdom:
I have created a very nourishing experience for you in a nature setting, where you can retreat from the outside world and return to your true self. After getting settled in and oriented, we will begin our silent journey within.
- Each morning begins with your choice of yoga or a walk in nature to help balance mind, body and spirit.
- You will receive a 3 Days of Silence & Wisdom Workbook containing each day’s schedule, along with the journaling exercises and meditations we’ll be doing together to energize, inspire and nurture your voice within.
- Free times and breaks are yours to do what calls to you – enjoy a walk along the beach, read, nap or continue your inner exploration through journaling.
- You will be sharing delicious meals with the group.
- You will have accommodations in a beautiful and relaxing nature setting.
This sacred time for yourself will revitalize and reenergize you, awaken your heart to unconditional love and gratitude – and you’ll come away feeling as rested as if you’d just been on a week’s vacation!

Frequently Asked Questions
I don't know if I can handle not speaking for 3 days. What if I can't do it?
We have never had a participant who couldn’t handle being silent for a few days, although it may seem challenging at first, especially if you are extraverted by nature. And of course, once in a while someone forgets for a moment and says something (we include a fun game with a prize for those who don’t say a word for the entire weekend).
Sometimes, feeling uncomfortable with not speaking is a sign that you could most benefit from going within. After just a short time, you will begin to feel very comfortable being in silence. In fact, at the end of the weekend when I count down from 5 to 1 so that everyone can begin speaking again, very often people choose to stay in silence for a while longer because it has become so comfortable and enjoyable. Experiencing this silence is one of the key benefits and transformations that happens during the weekend.
What if I need to speak during the event?
Sticky notes are provided so that you can communicate in writing when needed, either with me or members of the group. I do request that you turn off your mobile devices during the weekend. If you need to check in with your family at home, you are welcome to send an email or text at the end of the day after the workshop agenda is complete. We suggest you let friends and family members know in advance that you will be “off the grid” for a few days and that communication should be limited to emergencies only.
If the weekend is held in silence, does that mean we each do our own thing without a schedule?
Although the weekend is held in silence, each day is structured and to some degree, interactive. We will be working from a manual which includes the full schedule for each day, and explains all the exercises and meditations we will be doing together as a group. As well, I will be writing on a flip chart to communicate the material with you. We will also be eating all our meals together as a group.
